Communities That Care (CTC) is an evidence-based approach to organizing the community to do youth prevention work in several key focus areas: substance abuse, depression, anxiety, delinquency/crime, violence, teen pregnancy, and school dropout.  The CTC model brings together stakeholders across all sectors of the community in order to build positive futures for youth community-wide.  CTC uses public data, school district data, and information gathered from surrounding areas to identify the key focus areas for positive youth development in the Shippensburg community.
