Free Community Meals

During this pandemic, so many in our community are hurting and are in need because of the coronavirus crisis. Community meals are FREE and you do not need to register or RSVP. Just show up!

  • Monday 6/1 and 6/8: 5:00-6:00 pm: St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 206 East Burd Street.

  • Monday 6/15 and 6/22 5:00-6:30 pm: The Harbor, 55 West King Street, Please use side entrance by the Library parking lot. 

  • Tuesday 6/2 5:30 pm: Christ United Methodist, 47 East King Street, Enter using Apple Street.

  • Tuesday 6/9 and 6/23 5:30 pm: Messiah United Methodist, 30 South Penn Street.

  • Tuesday 6/16 5:30-6:30 pm: First Assembly of God Shippensburg, 420 Baltimore Street.

  • Every Wednesday 4:30-5:30 pm: Oasis of Love Church, 303. South Washington Street. Pick up at the rear of the building. 

  • Every Thursday 11:00 am-12:00 pm: Oasis of Love Church, Bakery items. 303 South Washington Street. Pick up at the rear of the building. 

  • Thursday 6/4 and 6/18 5:30 pm: Prince Street Brethren Church, 20 North Prince Street.

  • Thursday 6/11 and 6/25 5:00-6:30 pm: The Harbor, 55 West King Street. Use Side Door.

  • Every Friday 4:00-5:30 pm: Shippensburg First Church of God - Kitchen of Grace, 5 North Prince Street.

  • Sheetz Mealz for Kidz: ONLY Sheetz on Scotland Rd is offering free meals of a sandwich, chips, and drink to children. Limited to 20 meals per day per store. Children do not have to be present to pick-up meals.

Other Food Resources

  • Shippensburg Area School District Meals: Breakfast and hot lunches are served Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday at the Senior High School from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm.

  • Shippensburg Produce and Outreach Food Pantry: Every Tuesdays from 4-6 pm at 130 S. Penn St. Food is packed in boxes for people to pick up in "drive-thru". They are accepting new intakes. For more info:

    • Diaper Bank is the 1st Tuesday of the Month

  • King's Kettle Food Pantry: Emergency Food Boxes and regular distribution on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Tuesdays, 5 6:30 pm, 30 N Fayette Street. Contact JR at

  • Hound Packs: This program is for any child living in the SASD. Food bags with 7 meals for the weekend can be picked up on Friday at the Senior High School 10:30 am-12:30 pm. ​If you need financial help, the Shippensburg Civic Club did a gift card drive for our community to help meet the personal needs of residents living in the Shippensburg Area School District. The gift cards can be used to purchase personal items such as toiletries, disinfecting items, diapers/wet wipes, food, and prescriptions. SCRC will coordinate distributing the gift card:

  • Eligibility: Live within the Shippensburg Area School District and have financial hardships due to the economic impacts of COVID-19.

  • Anyone that is a Human Service Provider (Tri-County, CAN, SASD Counselors/Social Worker, Head Start, Senior Center, etc) can request a gift card and it will be automatically approved. Please use this formProvider Gift Card Request Form
